How to Save a Life/ In Memory of Karl Hottenstein

   
How to Save a Life was established on June 21, 2007, Karl's Birthday. The purpose of this foundation is to help people gain placement into treatment and recovery houses that they would otherwise not have access to.


All proceeds go strictly into the program.
This program was developed due to the fact Karl wanted to go to an in-patient facility for help with his addiction to painkillers and was denied treatment. Karl died 6 weeks later after being denied the help he so desperately wanted.


Addiction is not a moral issue, it is a disease which can be treated.
How to Save a Life Foundation has teamed up with Livengrin Foundation.


How to Save a Life's goal is to provide assistance to those suffering from addictive disorders receive the help they want and need. How to Save a Life is giving the chance of life that Karl D. Hottenstein did not have.

How to Save a Life does not discriminate against any type of treatment.
